International charity WaterAid has named Great British Bake Off winner and author Nadiya Hussain as its new ambassador.

Hussain, who recently visited Bangladesh where one in eight people don't have access to clean water, will work on the charity's Healthy Start campaign to raise awareness of the links between poor water, sanitation and hygiene and child malnutrition. She commented 'All I want for my children is that they grow up in the healthiest environment possible. That is what I want for all children - it is what every parent wants'.
